We know, but isn’t that the same with everybody else? We learn from the good and the bad. Some bad things are more prevalent in “closed” isolated societies. The idea is not to judge but to learn from both the good and the bad and accept them for who they are.

The voice control technology is something to behold, the father yells in a tone that sounds like a murder is taking place, and the boy just whispers but the response is the same for each of them.  The barn is actually 6/10th of a mile away looking over the mules behind.

It is,    Mrs. Fisher (Annie) mows her lawn with the typical Amish hand powered reel mower.         On Monday, I watched her mow with the reel mower, but she had a plow horse hitched for power.    The horse was in reverse more than forward as he maneuvered around the house, trees, sidewalks, and grape arbors.     All by voice commands.   

Not sure if this is the reason for using the horse, but Annie is with child.

I have broccoli, melon, lettuce, habaneros and beets and turnip greens and in the house cucumbers this year Planted.

Salad is this year excellent grows. Not too much Rain and i keep the surface arround regulary clear.

 

 

1m arround each stripe will be kept plain and all2 Weeks cleaned with the tiller.

I do this to prevent snails will have a easy Way to an oppulente Meal instead of me,

actually it appears i be right with that Plan.

Drove out to Richmond Red's to pick up @squonk pile of rust (I think it is an engine) about 40 mile round trip . Skunky that will be $10.00 you owe me. Not sure what your bill will be for the 225 mile trip north. I may have to bring a calculator . Hard to figure the goesintos.

Thanks for reminding me. I haven't figured out your tractor storage bill yet. I'm cutting your shipping charge by a third as there will be other tractors on the trailer! Hehe

Painted up a matching trailer for my better half so she can use it around the yard and tow kids around with FlowahPowah. Snapped this photo right before the sky's started pouring buckets and trees breaking from wind around my house, lost power for a few hours so sat around in the shop and watched the storm.

Today I started my PA1 qualification for the safe use of pesticides.  

We have to have a certificate for using weed killers etc outside your own property.

As I want to be ok to spray small areas on the community project I decided to put in for the training. 

I'll be able to help out at other Community projects too if they need it.

@Achto tilled and drug the outfield today. Think a couple more pallets of grass are in my future.

Loaded the pole barn kit back on the trailer. I can’t get a permit without a stamped drawing from an engineer. The one who drew these truss plans somehow didn’t update them to new standards and as of now they are not valid in my state. So, the whole kit goes back to the company that sold it to me and they are giving me a full refund. That’s customer service. It’s not thier fault as they buy the trusses from another company and now they have a huge stack of various trusses they can’t sell till the drawings are updated and reapproved. That could take weeks and this stuff has been laying in my yard on pallets for 2-1/2 months already. Time to change plans again I guess. I did order two more sets of rear tires for the workers.

I get thier purpose, but I was building a shelter not something to live in. I never got a full explanation of what was wrong with the drawing. Oh well, I’m over it. Just want to get my refund and move on 👍
