Price out of pocket $125. A really wish I knew how many cords of wood have been on and off that trailer since I built it. I borrowed my wood trailer to a family member. And because no good deed goes unpunished. When I went to pick it up yesterday morning, I got it back with one side rack smashed, one tail light smashed, one tail gate smashed beyond use, and one safety chain missing. SWMBO has got me hard on the honey do list. New water heater now new furnace & AC. Me thinks she wants me to giterdone before I either croak of natural or self inflicted causes or she plain ole offs me ... Turned a 4" knotted brush on my angle grinder into a 3 1/2" brush in the process. Got to stop by HF tomorrow to get a back up brush. I have other means of warmth. .... a pellet stove... so I had the luxury of being able to seducing the canine. Performance comparison on the two brushes I've used up so far: DeWalt 4" dia heavy duty knot brush. $20 - cleaned about 150 bricks. Harbor Freight Warrior brand 4 1/2" knot brush. $8 - cleaned about 240 bricks. Next up - Menards 4" knot brush. $7. @Stormin what is the story on your crawler pictures? He had a collection of every model of Ransomes crawlers. Due to ill health he's sold most of them. Still has the blue digger. He built that from scratch. The big yellow one is a sand skimmer. Used in water treatment plants. Would have a auger on the front that scooped the sand on to a conveyor that ran under the seat to the back. It then dropped off into a Ransomes crawler fitted with a dump bucket. You steered the skimmer with your feet. Great fun to drive. Lots of info on it's rebuild here. Cutting up logs into sections and storing under cover, ready for splitting at a later date. I need to get a heap moved and cut, so I can get the saw bench into the workshop for a service. Reluctant to start this cold weather. Petter single diesel with hand start.. Or maybe I just can't spin it fast enough these days. Shoveled the drive, 'cause it was quicker than getting the 14-8 with the plow out. Dropped my 18" Craftsman chainsaw off at the hardware store. I had one but they've had too many problems with ((??)) people not treating the equipment right and wondering why it doesn't run.
