We took the pontoon around the lake for the season's last ride, then pulled it up onto the trailer.  Got to pressure wash it, then send it out for winterizing.

We have been shopping for a small cargo trailer.  Found a couple of new ones, but the price was far above the value to us for something that will be sitting idle most of the time.  Did not see any used trailers in the size we wanted.

Got a line on a used one last week and brought it home this weekend.  Well, it is more of a kit trailer.  A loosly assembled suggestion of what the finished trailer should look like.  It needs wiring, body work, and suspension work.  On the other hand, I have less than $100 in it at the moment.  In the end, I'll have about 1/3 of the cost of a new trailer by the time I get it done.

We've been pondering about getting an enclosed trailer for multiple things. Camping, tractor shows, meet and greets, whatever comes up.

Been watching the prices off and on kind of half-heartedly for at least two or three years now and it seems as though the used ones in our area are not much less than a new one.

If you get a minute I'd love to see some pictures of what you have there.

Sounds like you pulled off an excellent purchase.

Been wanting to make mine a small camping/hauling unit. Strategically placed cabinets and beds can be done and still haul a tractor or two. Seen some nice ones while working at Fort Wilderness.

As I'm sure you are well aware there's a thousand different ways you could go about doing that.

A couple that I have put serious thought to is to buy a box type enclosed trailer with a fairly high ceiling and make the nose to levels. That's where your bed would be. Still have room to slide two or four tractors in there given correct sizing.

Another one that we were thinking about is to buy a trailer that is specifically meant for hair covered horses. Those are often easier and less expensive to find. Many of them will carry six or whatever of the animals and have a small room in the nose for the horse tack or even a restroom/bedroom area.

Have you compared load ratings?  I assume anything that can carry a large “live” load would be fairly robust, but never looked into it.

I figure that many hair covered horses weight around or over 1000 lbs and your average wheel horse is what…..500-700 pounds. Should work well. Those horse trailers with the living quarters are nice.

Richie has pretty much nailed it right there.

Hair covered horse pulling trailers vary by weight in a massive way.

The ones we were finding in the six-horse size range were as much as 11,000, 12,000 lb total gross.

More anti pup fencing today. When we moved the rockeries back, it left bare patches of soil where the front of the rockeries had been. Needless to say, holes had been dug and soil scattered on the lawn.

Well I don't binge watch anything.

We don't celebrate halloween.

And I don't like horror movies.

So I guess I'm out of the running on this one...
