need help on a 48in. deck

ok my lift rod is hitting my  Grease zerk and in return its hitting the shaft and both on my horses dose it my C105 and my GT-1800 I cant see why its doing it for

I have had to remove the center pulley zerk on a couple of 48" decks as it gets bashed up...

Are you CERTAIN the deck is mounted correctly.  That is, the FORK of the front tach-o-matic hitch MUST engage the guide bar underneath....tough to explain, so here are a couple of pics.  If this isn't mounted right, the deck will also slop back and forth...

I have the same setup with a 48. Your hitch is in the correct position. To keep the zerk from rubbing I used a hitch pin and washer in the hole on the round portion of the bar that is touching the grease fitting to pull it over, if this makes sense to you.

Check the lift chain and trunion and make sure it's connected to your lift handle.

ok the deack wants to lift but it hits the frame on the horse and the 2nd I dont have a hole in my bar that slids in the deck if there was I would have done it 7 years ago

I had to drill a hole in some of mine.  Drill about 1/2" over from where the bar and rod meet.  Bill
