cafoose 3,360 #1 Posted April 30, 2020 I have a 6 inch PTO clutch plate from a Raider that is worn out. I'm thinking of getting this from and relining it. Will it work and what's the best way to attach it to the clutch plate? The OD of the original clutch plate is 6 inches and the ID is 4 1/8 inches. This one is 6 inches OD by 3 5/8 ID by 1/8 thick. https://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Slip-Clutch-Friction-Disc/223985794824?_trkparms=aid%3D1110004%26algo%3DSPLICE.COMP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D225074%26meid%3D060f1855c4024fbeb130af5f8826ddab%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D272564626929%26itm%3D223985794824%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3Ddefault&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219
squonk 41,774 #2 Posted April 30, 2020 (edited) I'm pretty sure I have a 6" disc in extra parts. For some reason I didn't make it into the picture in my classified ad. I can check if interested. Edited April 30, 2020 by squonk

Racinbob 11,393 #4 Posted April 30, 2020 There's two sizes Correct? 6" and 6 1/2". I needed one on my 76 16hp and bought a 6" on Ebay a while ago. Being a dummy I didn't actually measure the old one and its turns out I needed a 6 1/2" so the 6" is no longer needed. Problem is that I'm not fully unpacked from the move. With warmer weather here it won't be long though. Once I find it you can have it if you didn't already get one.

From what I've seen I think you are correct the older ones are 6" and the newer ones after around 1973 or so are 6 1/2". I'm in no big hurry for it. I still have a lot of things to do on the GT-14 that I'm converting over to a manual clutch. I really would appreciate it when you do find it if you would save it for me. squonk 41,774 #6 Posted April 30, 2020 I'm positive I have one. It's raining about an inch an hour now but when it stops I'll get out to the shed and get it. Probably tomorrow after work. I may need a boat
Racinbob 11,393 #7 Posted April 30, 2020 You got it. But I think Mike will find his first. Either way we'll get you taken care of.
Racinbob 11,393 #8 Posted April 30, 2020 What year and HP is your Raider?
Racinbob 11,393 #9 Posted April 30, 2020 I ask because once I find it there will be a part number on the package. My memory is slowly coming back (on this issue only) and I bought it because it is a NOS Wheel Horse part and I didn't measure it because I didn't know there was two sizes. Not sure what year the PTO is off of but I know it's a Kohler. GT-14 is a 14 hp. Part number I need is 6655. Edited May 1, 2020 by cafoose

76c12091520h 3,692 #14 Posted May 1, 2020 Yes, that's too big for 6" applications. Just helping clear up the size difference. Pre 73-74 =6" newer takes 6 3/

squonk 41,774 #16 Posted May 1, 2020 I have that clutch disc. There is a spot on the outer edge where the material is dinged up but it should work fine. If you want it $15 shipped.
