Make sure that you do a “shop adjust” set to the plow up on blocks like you did with Putt-Putt. Pullstart 62,787 #83 Posted May 12, 2020 Well, the boys came out and plowed a bit in our garden, then took it home to do their plot! The belt was slipping quite a bit but once they got home, they found that they can push down on the parking brake handle a bit and it is a rocket! Traction is still an issue but their soil is mainly sand and it does ok still with the limited slip. I’m glad they are happy and look forward to seeing it on their older brother’s YouTube channel “Cade’s Cows” in the near future! Thank you again @davidtmercer for hooking me up with this awesome machine! Any chance you have a slip roll somewhere in that magic barn of yours? I need to make replacement baffles for the RD deck you sold me last year. I actually chipped the claw hammer in a few spots on this stunt, but I got the job done... My FIL told me that he bought a roller last year but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. They coated it with WD40, changed the oil, cleaned the fuel tank and are probably due for another oil change! Unfortunately, they were plowing a bit faster than they should to keep momentum and caught a big root, bending part of the plow. Ohio Steel quit making these 20 years ago according to the nice lady I spoke with in their customer service, so parts are NLA. We might see about making it, but it’s 2”x1/2” solid bar and needs a lateral bend. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pullstart 62,787 #94 Posted September 5, 2020 So, Jed bought out his big brother’s share and is now sole owner of the GT-14. He bought a disc the other day, then blew a hydraulic line. It was hose barbed before, and as a quick fix they shortened the line and re-connected it. If our local parts store cannot make a duplicate off one of my old lines, we’ll head to Lowell and Joette for help. Once the line was refitted and the transmission topped off, he broke his new disc!
