Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #3 Posted April 25, 2020 I run small stacks on a couple of my 8HP machines. I think they’re much quieter than the pepper pot style mufflers.

Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #5 Posted April 25, 2020 No part numbers on these. They were both custom made (not by me). Bud Andrews built the one on the machine with turf tires and Jim Kemp built the one on the machine with AG tires. Only parts you need to buy if you end up with one of these stacks are a couple 1” threaded black iron pipe fittings. Any local hardware store or Home Depot carries the pipe fittings. squonk 41,021 #8 Posted April 26, 2020 If you all use black iron fittings, go to a plumbing supply and try to get schedule 80 fittings. Stronger and thicker and less likely to snap off
Pullstart 62,786 #9 Posted April 26, 2020 If you’ve got a welder, you could make something work too. Right now, this stay at home deal has sparked a bit of creativity both in the kitchen and in the shop for us! 1
