oldlineman 1,481 #1 Posted April 23, 2020 I finally did it and WOW! what a difference in starting. I bought a good pump Faucet 60106 and didn't even have to drill holes. I picked up feed on lighting circuit and since I never use the lights I pulled the ground off the lights so they don't work and installed a 3 amp fuse for the pump per instructions. I leave the light switch on and can shut down if need be with light switch. If you have any fuel pump problems don't hesitate to do this upgrade well worth it. I left the mechanical pump in place and just installed a peace of gas line between inlet and outlet to keep dirt out if I ever want to go back to it but can't see that happening. 4
Pollack Pete 2,273 #2 Posted April 23, 2020 Nice, neat job.Been kicking that idea of an electric pump for my workers for some time now.Hate the long starter cranking when a tractor sets for a week or two.Where did you buy the pump?
oldlineman 1,481 #3 Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=9616 They are on sale right now 24 % off. You can get at NAPA and on the net but buy a good one you get what you pay for as they say. Still made in the good old USA too! formariz 11,987 #4 Posted April 23, 2020 Makes it a totally different tractor. I have many hills and without the electric fuel pumps they get fuel starved at full throttle under load when going up. Its a major improvement on any tractor.

Do your self a favor.Get rid of that fuseholder and get an holder that uses the blade fuses and a weatherproof cap. The one you used are nortorious for moisture getting them causing corrosion spring failure and eventual heat.
