The one on Rusty (my 1054A) still seems to work good although it looks really rough. I was curious more than anything and even if I broke it trying to get it apart I was going to see the guts! It’s amazing what kind of abuse and neglect these things will take! The engine had water in it and I flushed it a few times tonight with clean used oil and a splash of diesel before running for 5 minutes or so and draining one last time. I topped it back off with non-detergent 30 Weight and a cup or so of Lucas oil additive. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pullstart 62,786 #46 Posted April 26, 2020 I made a pick up of a GT-14 and a couple other things this morning. The tractor is for a friend’s kids. This was part of my package I picked up. A set of 953 inside wheel weights! I believe I need 4 more bolts and lug nuts to complete the set. These bolt onto the inside of the 953 hub, then act as lug studs for the wheels. You went out of your way to help someone else and that “good karma” came back around already. Dad is running a set on Clyde that I got years ago on a parts Gt-14. They are awesome weights for sure.
