squonk 41,021 #3 Posted April 21, 2020 McMaster is quick. I have a HF ultrasonic cleaner. I think I remember the manual saying not to put stuff like carburetor cleaner in it. I could be wrong but something sticks in my head about it.

cafoose 3,354 #8 Posted April 23, 2020 Got the bushings in and the carb together I found a genuine Kohler kit for $18.23 in stock at an old local dealer in Jacobus about 10 miles away who still has a lot of Wheel Horse parts : https://innerstsalesandservice.business.site/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral The carb came off a "C" series and the choke configuration is wrong I'm putting it on a GT-14 that has the cable going across the top and the "C" series I believe goes under the engine shroud and up to the carb. I may need a longer choke cable

One big thing on the HF cleaners is that the stainless bowl doesn't have any sort of a seal where it meets the plastic case. I know that if you turn it over to dump the liquid out, it will get some of the liquid inside of the cleaner itself which can short it out, and would be especially bad with something flammable like carb cleaner.
