dells68 7,498 #1 Posted April 21, 2020 We’ve had a lot of damage from flooding lately. A friend’s daughter had about 9 tons of rip rap lining the back of her house. I used the 857 and the fatty old trailer I’ve had since I was three to haul them to the trailer. 857 ran perfectly. The girl’s little boy had to drive the tractor every time we went from the truck back around the house. He even picked up a load on the way back! He had a ball!!! It was nice to see a little guy having so much fun on a horse!! 5 6 1

The trailer is an old Jackson dump cart that I got when I was 10 to pull behind my Honda 3 wheeler. That thing is 37 years old, beat up, and has been welded many times. Still, I wouldn’t give it up for anything. It has a lot of sentimental value! 3

Jackson was so excited about getting to ride the tractor. His dad had to walk beside him to help him out, but I think they both had fun. The dad is even talking about getting Jackson a tractor of his own now. Only thing is I need to talk him into making it a Wheel Horse, right now he's leaning toward a Bolens. Either way, we've got another young convert! We've got to keep our hobby going with the next generation.
