Dan.gerous   2,696 #1 Posted April 19, 2020 Well, I have been trying to get a rototiller for a few weeks and found one for sale with a wheelhorse attached.  I promised the wife that we could always sell the wheelhorse and keep the rototiller, but I have no real intention of doing that 🙂  Anyway, it's another C125 like my other one, although it's a bit rough and ready. Now we can get the garden done! 2 7

Sorry, Unfortunately Picture posting is very limited unless your become a supporter. If interested there are a few different options to choose from in the Red Square store.   https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/store/

It's a bit like the forum I use for my RV, so useful. 4

Pullstart   62,785 #8 Posted April 19, 2020 Congrats on the score!  Woo hoo!  More tractors for more implements, less down time especially when gardening!  It is helpful to have a plow tractor or two, a disc tractor, a tiller tractor, a yard cart tractor, a refreshments tractor, what else can we think off for essentials?  1
Darb1964 Â Â 1,042 #9 Posted April 20, 2020 That's how I picked up my c-125 8, with a tiller, c-105 8 with a tall shoot snow thrower. Last week I picked up a nice 312A with a power bagger attachment. That's also how I became a collector, I planned on selling the tractor at first, until I got them home, now I don't think I will ever sell them. I have never been good at selling anyway, and what I have sold, 1967 GTO, 1950 cub, I regretted from the moment they left my house. I sold them to make room for my Kubota 3010, should have went with a bigger barn.

Dan.gerous   2,696 #13 Posted April 21, 2020 Got the new horse home today, it's been outside for a while so was a bit green.  Everything works, it fires up and runs better than the other one, steering is nice and light etc. Despite looking worse, I would say it has had better maintenance throughout its life.  The brake was removed to allow for a beefed up pulley support for the tiller. Most of the bits are there so I will get them back on - it's not much fun without brakes!  The tiller looks like it might be missing a spring, there is a hook that might be visible in the pictures where I guess it goes. The previous owner also thought he had geared it down to better handle his clay soil.  He also never used the clutch while moving out about his yard! I thought that was a bit harsh but it all seems ok despite that.  So the next thing is clean it up a little, grease everything then fluid changes. Also lots of the pulleys are very sloppy so I guess will need to get new bearings.  Will then pick one of the wheelhorses to pull apart and paint over the winter...
