Help with a C-101

Recommended Posts

BillA

Just today I got my first Wheel Horse. It's a model C-101, the serial number is 81-10K801-14426 below there is a number of 8129. I was told it's a 78 year. Can anyone help me to confirm that? I know nothing about wheel horse but looking forward to learning. Thanks in advance for you help.

@BillA :text-welcomewave: and congrats on your new machine!  I’ve had a C-101 and it was quite the machine!  It’s now living life in a few of my tractors and some extra parts are on the shelf!

Welcome to the forum, and nice looking tractor! What are your plans for it? Use it as a mower or do you have any other attachments? I believe a member here has a headlight bucket for sale in the classified section if you don't already have one.

We also have a "Other brands" section. I clicked on your profile and it looks like you also probably have some yellow tractors as well. Feel free to post about them too!

Wow that looks like it’s in great shape! Is it missing a mower deck wheel? If so the correct ones are readily available. Welcome to Red Square! You’ll meet the nicest people here. Just a word of caution, these things tend to multiply once you realize what great well built and versatile they are!

Yes it is missing a mower wheel. The deck is in pretty bad shape.  At some point would maybe like to find a replacement. This one has been patched and currently  has a few holes. And yes I have a couple of yellow ones.
