Yossarian 208 #1 Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) My sister and brother in-law moved last year. My dad being my dad made sure all of the old tools that were in the shed when they moved in weren't in the shed when they moved out. Old brace and bits, wrenches, a really neat set of pliers I'd never seen before and this. The combined knowledge on this forum is pretty amazing really so thanks in advance. ebinmaine 67,279 #2 Posted April 17, 2020 First thing I thought of is an early prototype for Thor's special winged hammer. That's probably not it though....

Lived in Columbia for quite a few years. I've got a couple of other things from a tool box that belonged to my Grandfather that I'll post here later when I get a couple of pictures. formariz 11,987 #5 Posted April 17, 2020 @ol550 Is it a separator or a breaker? Or separates it and holds it in order to break it? how is it actually used?
johnnymag3 2,515 #6 Posted April 17, 2020 Im confused also …. How does it function, and why separate flat link?
ol550 830 #7 Posted April 17, 2020 This is another style of flat link chain. The tool holds one link to drive the flat part past the rounded end and reverse to assemble. 2
Yossarian 208 #8 Posted April 17, 2020 Also, if any one on here can actually use that, its theirs. I might ask for actual shipping, but I don't need it and tools should be used. 2

SylvanLakeWH 25,493 #10 Posted April 18, 2020 I was thinking it was Big Foot’s beard trimming comb... no? But seriously...that is cool. Learn something on this site every day...Occasionally about little red tractors... 2
