Tractorhead 9,064 #1 Posted April 13, 2020 What do you found between your Easter Eggs? I found this one another new Toy for the Boy. 1600Nm opening force is a lot. Nice and handy not that heavy than my older impact wrench. Kati gets also a nice Gift, our Landlady has in her Backyard a separated Area, she wasn‘t able to deal with. So we get that Area for free and we can use it as we like. Because Kati like to have a raised bed, she tells the landlady few day‘s ago. This Area is full with longterm growing Raspberry and the landlady tried last year to cut it out as much as possible. Basically she give that Areal up, and today we get it as our Easter Gift. There is also a old Glasshouse, but inside it is a mess. All is overgrown with Raspberry‘s. They had 5years to grow since she give it up. Great, but it‘s Katis Area, i just have to help her a bit on the harder Things. So she starts today at 10:00 Am and worked until 15:00 Pm with just few Breaks. Raspberrys are horrible to remove. after Kati cleaned out the Terrain from Raspberrys and old fencep arts and some other trash like bigger stones i started the Tiller to do the first time a tilling the Area. It was just a test how it works and if the new Chain lasts maybe with a bit of hope to crack the Hackstars from the Spindles. yes, the Chain lasts and the Tiller works great now, however the hackstars stay where they are. Several hops was feelt while tilling, but it digs and the Soil is now fluffy like powder. 3

Achto 27,502 #3 Posted April 14, 2020 Nice garden area. What are Kati's plans, vegetables or flowers?
Tractorhead 9,064 #4 Posted April 14, 2020 To be honest, she was a bit irritated, by the quick, she get that Area.😂 Because of the Lockdown she was searching for sensefully things she can do, so she developed this idea. Kati plans to plant Veggies in high bed and in the Glasshouse and a walk from fence door to the glasshouse surrounded with Flowers for the bees. 4

Tractorhead 9,064 #6 Posted April 14, 2020 Shall i bring her in a hurry ? huh, that could be dangerous.... - to me😎😂 Curious if she did something today, in the night we have rain, so i guess it’s too muddy today, but who knows.
Tractorhead 9,064 #7 Posted April 15, 2020 Kati did today a bit more Cleanup. When i cam home from Office, she cleaned nearly the full Glasshouse also. I decide it‘s time to dump the Short cutted Rasps into Forrest. So i take a little Seattime with the Beast and dump 3 full Bags with short cutted Raspberry dump. Btw. Kati told me today that my Welding gloves seems to be perfect to remove Raspberrys, their needles nearly don’t be able to stick thru, it seems they thick enough for that. I give her yesterday my ok, to try my Welder gloves, to try if they be better than her Gardener gloves. After i dumped, i fixed few smaller issues in the Glasshouse and use the rest of the Sunlight to Paint the Plow, i have on Monday derusted and allready primed. Just a Rattlecan job, not the nicest, but it was build to Work. For that purpose it‘s good enough. Looks now much nicer with a bit fresh Red paint on it.

Tractorhead 9,064 #10 Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) Today’s Upgrade I installed the found border, that we don‘t push the Tilled earth in Landlady‘s little Pond. Kati has sieved the whole Area this week as good as she can but in 15 cm depth it begins to get hard and cleaned the Areal as much as possible. Another Bag is fully with some roots and Kati starts to planting Tomatoes and carrots in the Glasshouse. Whilst she do this i did again a run with the Tiller, some more roots will be dig out. now we are in depth of a complete Hackstar 28cm in diameter and there crossing some roots of the old Cherry Tree, i shall Trim next time. The Centrifugalclutch was a real good idea, that works as i expected, if a bigger root clog, the Hackstar stalls and the centrifugal clutch keep the Chain safe, but it is heavy to reach the Thottle lever on the Engine. That will be improved as a next hardware upgrade She cleaned the Areal with a rake and i tilling it once more. Then we decided where the Path should be going to the Glasshouse. Meanwhile i fixed the old rotten door with a Plexi window i had in spare on the upperside of the door and with a rabbit hutch lattice in the Bottom. The plexi does not fit completely up to the Top, so a bit of Air can circulating. For the Lower Section of that door i quick build a Frame from a old Wooden plate and cut it with the jigsaw to a Frame that fits into door Profile. Than i wrapped the lattice arround and fix it with few staplernails. After that i wrapped a piece of lattice arround the Middlesection, to keep cat’s out, because the formally know that as their toilet. We remove 10cm from the upper Soil in the Glasshouse, they maybe contaminated and exchange it with fresh Soil. The Beast have some Seattime today, to dump the whole contaminated Soil and bring some fresh out of the Forrest. I have a place, where i can pickup as much as i need. After that, I tilled it Again completely to mix it under and we rake the Soil to get the floor nice and smoothly. I still like my Wheel Horse even i can do much more than simply mowing but because it is to easy to do that Job i decided to do this with the Beast. The FEL i built for it, did today a real great Job and shows no real weakpoints, while it had today its hardcore Test. I see a real huge Compost, but few Rocks are dumped in the Way. So i must moved them before i be able to digging in the bottom of that Compost ( ok, i played a bit more, but hey come on 😂) and all things they needed can be done easily with Hydraulic force. I begin to Sweat, while one of the Rocks lifts me up the Rear axle, but gladly i can catch the Beast before ROPS will be really needed first Time. After 4h Continouse run where about 3H Full throttle run just 1Galon of Diesel is needed - not Bad at all. The 4WD is also a big advance while Lift heavier Things or Dig full force into depth, but the Overkill was definitely the Differential Lock on Top. All Gears in, it appears to be unstoppable. We had a great Play time today. 👍 Kati purchased 2 Sack of plant Earth for use in the Glasshouse. Edited April 17, 2020 by Tractorhead

Tractorhead 9,064 #12 Posted April 20, 2020 (edited) Picking up today few free stones, few for the new Garden Area‘s Way to the Glasshouse But the Beast is few cm to wide, to get into that property, so i just can move them with the Horse into - yeee haaa Ok, i thaught i never will use my Horse that hard, but it is the only option, not self to carry that Weight and save my Back. that mean‘s i need also a Counterweight for my Horse.... to use the FEL again..... 😎 Each of that Stone‘s weight 12 Kilos, that be in summary 84 Kilos behind the Rearaxle, with that counterweight as Ballast, it shall be able to do the Job without rape the Frontaxle. I love my Horse, even it is just a „sheet metal framed“ one, it is tiny, extremely agile and Powerful - aaaand it is allway‘s ready for some Action. out with the Mowerdeck, we have to do a FEL Job. time we get some rain, the Soil is too dry, garlic , potatoes show their first tips all grows but since 2 Weeks nearly no Rain, just Sun and 60-70Deg. Tractorhead 9,064 #14 Posted April 23, 2020 Kati did a bit Work today, because Hardware Stores reopened She was able to Buy some Suff to go ahead with her Work. But she must Wear a Mask. However now she can built her Border to the Way and „Michel -Angelo jumps suddenly in her Shopping Cart too.. 😂😂😂😂 also an „Daddy Toy arrived today after 3 Weeks, the Float Valve for my FEL on the Beast is here. Yeeeee Haaaaaa. so Weekend can come
Tractorhead 9,064 #15 Posted April 24, 2020 another Gardening Day.... Kati plants some more green while i mow the Front- the Backyard and arround the Property with the Horse. Than i change the Saddles so i can test the Ramps i built to get easier with the horse and the Beast into Backyard and they work as needed. After that, Kati changed her Plan to plaster the Lounge instead of Her new Gardenway and i prepare the work for.. ( maybe tomorrow) Than we begin to dump the Grasscut and the Compost because Kati needs some converted soil to fill up in her new Area, and i dig it out, the rest she like i shall dump for the Moment. Ok, some more Seattime with the Beast. After several Loads, 15 Full Bags i counted also the whole Compost was removed, even the Lumber of last 2 Years and all rest we had to clean up the Garden for Seasonal use. I like the reworked Windshield frame, it gives me a much better handling and the FEL Levers. Untill all is cleared Kati decides to keep the old dried Christmas tree as Deko...😂😂😂 a lot of gardening was done today, if the Weather tomorrow allows it again, i will trim few Trees and dump that Wood also. Once a plum a Walnut and the Cherry tree behind out Car’s with a lot of death wood and

Tractorhead 9,064 #17 Posted April 25, 2020 gardening Weekend continouses, Today‘s program, trimm few Trees and clean up the Workarea. i begin with the Cherry, where lot of death brances are on. one is over the new Gardening area, the Landlady allows me to remove. ok, i do... 😎 sorting my tools and be prepared for the Daily job. First branch, wil be cutted in half by hand and dropped slowly down. ( i hoped it worked as the last several times i did before... I bound a rope between forehalf the cutting area and bit wider to my side, that the branch didn fall quick down. I‘m just a Gasmonkey, but if i get my time treeclimbing still works as i did several years ago. The branch Dropped like a hydraulic liftarm smoothly to the ground. No damages on the fence, no other things hurt. Than i prepare for the bigger branch, but before i take a closer look at it, to see if i seen right from the floor, it supposes to has a huge rip - so no doubt it must fall today. Personal injuries are not a thing of discussing and we park our cars under that thing. It‘s about 20 cm thick, the rip is a bit higher i can stay safe, so no pict from. so i sling a rope in about 3 m height and use the beast and a Gym rubberband with 35Kg force to pull it in the direction it shall fall. cutted gently a bit the upper side and set a fellcut. it moves exactil in the direction i planed. wham, here we go ! It‘s now much brighter and a danger is banned. than i have to cut the bigger parts as Firewood and the lumber and thinner i dumped ( yap, seattime for the Beast) We continoued in the Backyard on the Plum, i cutted nearly a l deathwood out, but i rethinkering to fell this tree before it blooms. maybe after bloom, if there is no more feed for the bees - we will see. Same game again, the bigger for the fire, the rest for the dump. now it is coffeetime.
