Anyone Know What This Is ?

Recommended Posts

Saw this ad on Craigslist for 75 bucks. Not sure if its worth the trouble. I dont have the skills like most of you guys around here. Sure looks like a pretty cool tractor though. Can anyone identify it? The owner dosnt know what it is just wants it gone.

Now i will leave you fellers to figure out what i am talking about because Oliver  bought from Mr Haney

After much head scratching I'm pretty sure it's a tractor.

Like Ohio days, drag it home, have a look and see what comes up.

75 dollars is a fair price for a nice project.

4th picture down, just below the gas tank, LAW lettering? Does that help identify it?

Its about an hour away from me. Like I said before I am not the greatest mechanic. It would be way over my head I am sure. He says it rolls and steers thats all he knows about it.

Looks like a gear on the inside of the right side tire. Wonder if that's for locking up the tires?

Lots to learn about it just wiggling stuff and watching things move.  Don’t be scared, think of it as a great learning method.  I’ve just been crazy enough to be taking my toys apart since Christmas morning of whenever I had access to tools.  Luckily I never burnt the house down plugging my RC motors into the wall outlets.  Man those cars would move fast!

I’d gladly make the detour after our next Big Show to pay you for your losses if you decide it’s not for you!

Stepney

Almost reminds of a Struck, or a Jaques Mighty Mite..

Front end looks distinctly like a Hahn Eclipse...

I agree. It's the Hoytt Clagwell..

First think I thought of was Mr. Douglas' tractor..

Maybe this is that rare one-off Hoyt GT?
