D_Mac 8,593 #1 Posted April 12, 2020 (edited) Saw this ad on Craigslist for 75 bucks. Not sure if its worth the trouble. I dont have the skills like most of you guys around here. Sure looks like a pretty cool tractor though. Can anyone identify it? The owner dosnt know what it is just wants it gone. Mickwhitt 4,584 #6 Posted April 12, 2020 Like Ohio days, drag it home, have a look and see what comes up. 75 dollars is a fair price for a nice project.
Mickwhitt 4,584 #7 Posted April 12, 2020 4th picture down, just below the gas tank, LAW lettering? Does that help identify it?
D_Mac 8,593 #8 Posted April 12, 2020 Its about an hour away from me. Like I said before I am not the greatest mechanic. It would be way over my head I am sure. He says it rolls and steers thats all he knows about it.
dalez 137 #9 Posted April 12, 2020 Looks like a gear on the inside of the right side tire. Wonder if that's for locking up the tires?
D_Mac 8,593 #10 Posted April 12, 2020 I dont know but it is an interesting gear box. Think the engine is original?

Pullstart 62,783 #14 Posted April 12, 2020 Lots to learn about it just wiggling stuff and watching things move. Don’t be scared, think of it as a great learning method. I’ve just been crazy enough to be taking my toys apart since Christmas morning of whenever I had access to tools. Luckily I never burnt the house down plugging my RC motors into the wall outlets. Man those cars would move fast!

Stepney 2,325 #21 Posted April 12, 2020 Almost reminds of a Struck, or a Jaques Mighty Mite.. Front end looks distinctly like a Hahn Eclipse... I agree. It's the Hoytt Clagwell..
