Pullstart 62,784 #1 Posted April 11, 2020 I was given this press today. My father in-law was cleaning out his barn and “didn’t know what to do with this.” I hate when that happens! It is a manual lever operation with a ratcheting wheel. I’m sure with the right attachments, it could be used to pull as well, as the ratchet pawl is reversible. my first to do will be pressing apart some spindles! 17 3

953 nut 55,065 #4 Posted April 11, 2020 That looks like a very sturdy frame. Would be easy to change it over to hydraulic if desired. 2
SylvanLakeWH 25,490 #5 Posted April 12, 2020 Very cool! One question - is it high enough to reach the bird house?

I’m not sure if I’ll ever get the desire for that... maybe just a longer lever some day!

formariz 11,987 #9 Posted April 12, 2020 (edited) They were at that location from 1910 to 1973 moving then to Kentucky where they were bought out. Clean the brass tag to make out serial number. We can find Manafacturing date. Edited April 12, 2020 by formariz

Greatest site for old machinery and information about it. @pullstart should photograph this one and send it in to them. Pretty rare item to find nowadays.
