pfrederi 17,954 #2 Posted April 9, 2020 Look on the seat pan left side for a sticker with a model and serial number. #12-8 were made for several years different engines ignitions etc.

Bill G 24 #10 Posted April 9, 2020 Awesome thank you for the replies. Now did the 1988 have round head lamps because one has round . I’m thinking someone swapped them out .

We like pictures and they can be very helpful in determining what you actually have! Welcome to the forum! Edited April 9, 2020 by ZXT

Bill G 24 #20 Posted April 10, 2020 Yea those are some wheel weights . I have a plow attachment for her as well . I think the plow is missing the handle to raise and lower it
The Tuul Crib 7,338 #21 Posted April 10, 2020 The implement arm is already there to raise your plow up and down. It just needs to be hooked up
ZXT 2,401 #22 Posted April 10, 2020 The seat is the only part of that tractor that I would consider rough! That's a nice looking rig!
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,119 #23 Posted April 10, 2020 Here is some info on the dozer supplied at the time. Very little difference between the models between 1968 and 2012 for this series of blades. Click on the picture. If you want to have down pressure on the blade you use a long lift link. Your tractor illustrated parts manual page for the "Manual Lift Linkage" shows where the different attachments connect. Handy page to have near by. Pollack Pete 2,273 #24 Posted April 10, 2020 Rough?? That tractor looks like a million bucks compared to most that I,ve ever bought. You'll love that Magnum 12.Plenty of power to do most of what you'll ever do and …...it will sip gas.Have fun with your new toy.
953 nut 56,058 #25 Posted April 10, 2020 That is a fine looking , the 312-8 is in my opinion the standard by which all other garden tractors must be measured. Versatile, reliable and user friendly. Like @Achto already mentioned, a pair of these blinders will allow your horse to look straight forward.
