seven 202 #1 Posted April 8, 2020 I bought this really old gem and not sure if it's a Brigs Kohler or Onan? I know it's green like onan ( generator only of this generating plant manufactured by Onan) Is what it says on nameplate

seven 202 #5 Posted April 9, 2020 That's what I think too. I can not find anything on it to go off. It does not have the points box outside like you normally see on a Kohler
Achto 27,505 #6 Posted April 9, 2020 I'm going to say that it is an Onan engine, I believe that Onan only used their own engines on their gens. The top of the fan shroud is too rounded off on top for a Briggs. Briggs fan shrouds are a bit more square on top. Is the block cast iron or aluminum? A cast iron Briggs would also have the points in a box on the outside like a Kohler.
