NICE! That thing looks great

PF eng design.. One thing I wish I did different was to angle the 2 stabilizers for the hoe back towards the rear. They were ripped off twice but it was getting worked hard digging a 4ft trench to bury the house utilities.

Dude! Did you build that yourself? Really? That is awesome! Do you have any pictures of the build? Or more pictures of the backhoe mount? Or just more pictures of it, we love pictures 👍🏻

Wow. That looks fantastic. Amazing job. How did you mount the backhoe to the frame?

I flip the seat up and on to the steering wheel to sit on the back of it and made some deviations to the plans for the frame holding the valves to make it more comfortable to do so. Interested in seeing how Ironman operates his.

If possible, my suggestion is to angle the stabilizers back 45 deg towards the bucket instead of straight out the side like the design plans, if you haven't finished the main frame. It will certainly work as designed but there's quite a bit of force on those arms pulling them back towards the bucket. Not sure how much it would help but it certainly couldn't hurt. "beefing up" those mount areas down near the frame or doing both is a good idea. Another thing is to look into using joystick controllers instead of levers. Just a couple of hindsight observations after using it for a while.

Ironman,

Again nice build.I am working on the loader first but will build the hoe version. There is a lot of work that goes into building your own so my hats off to you.I will take your advice about angling the stabilizers back and I like the joystick for this application.

Thanks for the reply!

That's as professional as anything WheelHorse or Toro could have done. Man I would love to have that.

Love to see more pictures, all sides and angles please!

I made a mount so I can spin the seat around. I'll try to post more pics soon.

So far I haven't had any problems. If I do I'll address them as they pop up.

Most are just 2" cylinders except for the crowd arm. That one is 2 1/2.

Joysticks are something I really wish I had put on. I may switch them in the future.
