You can use a rubberballpump instead as sometimes on outboard engines used.

So many great tips here.

The first time I remove the mule drive from my 310-8, it was jammed up pretty good. Previous owner had the belt on the outer pulley on the engine, so the mule was almost all the way out and jammed.

I DID NOT want to break the mule knob, so I grabbed a heavy rag and my small oil filter strap wrench and she came loose, no marks, no cracks.

Nice one @pullstart I'll often bend a piece of cardboard to funnel oil into the pan. My daily driver is a 2007 Accord. There's no point. Just let it run everywhere, clean it up later. They designed it that way. Hey, the car was free.

It’s not always about wood here. Here is another tool I made for my other activity.

Tool. Noun. A device or implement used to carry out a particular function.

This one maybe just a little bit loose fitting into that definition but it's there. Shop rags. Duct tape. And what you get is a forearm protector for carrying firewood. Inventor, BBT.

Small hydraulic press. The bracket on the left side is for holding a Kohler engine block. I just clamp it down when I need it.

Media blast cabinet. 48" wide by 30" deep. My hobby budget is not enough to buy large tools so I have to get creative at times.

Pullstart

This, I did not make.  I did however, modify it for my needs.  It is not quite OSHA any longer.  It does work great for it’s purpose.  It is a flush cut saw, I think.  I modified it to cut on a negative angle, like 5 degrees maybe?  Without the guard or fence, I can flush cut a floor out if it’s rotten, right along the edge of the room.

That's technically true and something she's done for me.

But that's her own forearm. So it's more of a BBT-daid.
