ZXT 2,401 #2 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) Looks like a Barker chain saw.. Probably a C-40. They were yellow though, so maybe this one was sold under a different name It should say what model it is under the bar between the two bolts. formariz 11,987 #5 Posted April 5, 2020 Not sure if the actual manufacturer was David Bradley because Craftsman also had similar saws, but there are David Bradleys out there with that handle. Its missing the bottom part of handle .
Pullstart 62,795 #6 Posted April 5, 2020 I took the bar off, no markings. The clutch says “North American Clutch, Cedarburg, WIS”

The clutch says “North American Clutch, Cedarburg, WIS” I can see Grafton, Wisconsin on the tag on the engine, which makes sense since it's a Power Products (Tecumseh) engine. The only chainsaw that I've found that is red is a Mono chainsaw, but the rope shroud is slightly different. Same with a Roots Lumberjack. ZXT 2,401 #8 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) But does it run? Edit: Here' a link to saws that used the AH-81 engine like yours does. http://www.chainsawcollectors.se/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26276&start=60 Edited April 5, 2020 by ZXT

Anglo Traction 761 #10 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) I'm inclined to agree with ZXT (Jonah) that it's a Mono. Engine is a Techy AH series of unknown capacity from the pics. Mono appear to have commenced production around 1958 with this model and had several in the range over the years. It also has some characteristics of a Montgomery Wards like the WD-75. Should give you enough to do some net searching..........Nice project to refurbish and make some sawdust !. Stepney 2,325 #11 Posted April 5, 2020 I had a Mono like that with the little AH Power Products engine .. What a heap of misery. Was OK for cutting a slice of butter for the morning toast I guess. Bahaha. Mine was quite worn out, those Power Products motors always tended to wear out quick. I've owned dozens.

Pullstart 62,795 #13 Posted April 6, 2020 Thanks everyone! Any idea on the value? He has a coworker who collects saws but they have no idea it’s worth.
