Snow cab removal and storage

Wonderful solution! I just made my 520H with the snow cab and blade a dedicated snow and dozer  blade machine. My old 88 520H is going to mow the grass until it blows up............:handgestures-fingerscrossed:

That will be the ultimate solution but until I get another 520 this will have to do.

I thought of something like that, but I ended up removing the roof, popping off the doors, unclipping the vinyl and taking off the framework in 2 pieces. Took less than 30 minutes to remove. and about 40 to go back on. I can hang all the framework on 1 hook and the rest up in a loft

That is basically what I have been doing but want to avoid it. Removal this way is basically 5 minutes and installation will be the same. I also avoid damage to tractor from removing the metal frame by myself. In addition I will be eliminating  any damage due to handling and storage. While it is all together and suspended it is also easy to treat the entire unit with vinyl conditioner. It will only be touched again to lower it onto tractor. I already do a similar procedure with blower so I don't have to muscle anything around. Merely drive tractor into right spot and drop it.

Great work!  I installed a lift like this in a garage for a 4 door Wrangler @8ntruck, it had pulleys over to the wall to lift and secure it to the ceiling :handgestures-thumbupright:

Around here an open leanto like that the cab would be banging around and take a beating from the wind.

Eventually this set up will go inside a closed lean-to in another shed. It really never gets much wind from that side . In winter it is covered by a tarp also on sides.

I will however for the mean time take the advise and tie it in such manner that it will not happen.
