B-111 - what is this and do I need it?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,
I've always been wondering about this front mount thingy on my B-111 (see pics) and can't figure out what it is intended for.
Done some research online but no results. My first thought was it's maybe meant for a dozer / snow blade?
I'm sure someone here can tell me exactly what it is.

Thanks all and stay save!

I think I would lean towards that being for a snow blade. I wouldn't normally use the words "dozer blade"  on a vertical shaft tractor because they aren't as heavy duty as the horizontal shaft garden tractors.

I don't know what the Wheelhorse brand plow looks like but maybe that's for an off-brand?

There is a thread pinned at the top of this "Implement" Section...open it up and find your B-111 1979.  There you will see what attachments work on your tractor.  Write down the model numbers and then search in the "Manuals / Implements section to find the manuals.  The sno-thrower is 06-37SX01.  There are also some Service Bulletins for ...lift  81214 & attachment 84321...some helpful threads will also appear.  Front attachments are sno-blade, sno-thrower.  Hope that helps and Welcome to Red Square.  :occasion-xmas:
