nylyon-(Admin) 7,299 #1 Posted April 2, 2020 Western Connecticut State University in Danbury Connecticut has provided their Westside Gym as a temporary hospital. The National Guard is installing the beds as of yesterday. Principal made the entire audience at graduation be quiet so a young man with autism could receive his diploma? Alex175 784 #3 Posted April 3, 2020 Though I did not end up graduating from WCSU, I did attend there for a few years before I realized that I wasn't cut out for college. That being said I am proud to see the way that the college has adapted to what is going on, and worked to help the community. I believe at one point I also saw that they were going to use some dorms to help the local homeless population weather the pandemic, though I am not sure if that came to fruition or not.
