wallfish 16,984 #3 Posted April 1, 2020 Yeah, a more believable excuse would've been, "After leaving the Church bingo game, I was taking the proceeds to donate them to Tunnels to Towers Foundation but on the way a message was received to pick up food from the pantry to be delivered to the senior center. So after picking up the boxes of food there were 2 abandoned puppies out in the road which I picked up as well. Then on my way to feed the hungry seniors, one of the puppies got under my feet which caused the accident. The seniors were hungry so therefore I couldn't wait around and delivered those boxes right away, then took the puppies to a vet hospital and paid to have them checked out. They're OK and in need of a home so I adopted both of them. 953 nut 55,065 #4 Posted April 2, 2020 When construction of the Miami/Homestead NASCAR Speedway was nearly complete a couple of local rednecks had an alcohol enhanced encounter with the wall of the speedway. It is in a somewhat secluded area so they were able to cut a couple of high speed laps before they lost it and hit the wall without anyone hearing it. They got a ride home and the owner of the truck called the police to report his truck as stolen. By the time he had made the call a policeman on routine rounds had already discovered the gate opened and saw the wreck. He dispatched a supervisor to the owner's home and it was rather obvious from the black eyes, bloody clothes and facial abrasions that something wasn't quite right. After a few febal excuses the guy admitted he had wrecked the truck. Sorry pal, you are going to jail. A couple of days later the paperwork on the stolen vehicle report was tied together with the wreck and now he was in even deeper dodo. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
