formariz 11,988 #1 Posted March 24, 2020 Here is one of my favorite vises. Extremely rare pre-patent machinists vise from about 1890's. Very early one serial #534. It weighs about 90Lbs. Restored it about 16 years ago and used it ever since. bottjernat1 2,190 #8 Posted March 24, 2020 Pretty Cool!! Here is a vise i just restored. I used a flap disc and wire brush. i used rustoleum grey primer and a hammered grey paint. Mine is the 4A and it weighs close to 100Lbs. I have been offered many times as much as $1200.00 for mine . The 10A if not cracked will probably go for close to $3000.00 due to its rarity.
