@Sodaking27,

  This one is going up for sale next weekend when I get back home. Tried to sell it with a noisy 36RD and mismatched wheels (color) but no interest. Wheels all match now and it has a quiet 42RD.
  First pic is how it looked a couple days ago.

@Horse Newbie

1800 with a Kohler KT17. So I guess technically it’s a GT 1700 😊

For a cover crop? Or just to maintain a path?

my quick and dirty harrow build.

  I was extremely happy with how well it worked on my driveway

Looks good and solid.

Did you do a build thread or any other pics somewhere?

What's your general procedure for use?

We've been using the Mid Mount Grader Blade for driveway maintenance and it does well.

I've been thinking about something that would "chew in" a bit first.

I can take some closer pictures this evening. I used a slot hitch cultivator frame. I bolted it to the tube steel.  2 pieces of tube was needed to the barrow would sit straight up and down.  Welded those together and welded railroad spikes to the bottom tube. Spikes were from a wooden drag type Harrow that grandpa made years ago.  Wood was rotted on it so I used to spikes

Ended up using some additional Weight to help as our drive was packed down pretty hard.  It is important for the harrow to have some give so it can jump if it snags a rock

Just to keep the weeds down on the places we don’t have anything planted.

Finally got time to finish my quick and dirty harrow build. Not anything fancy or pretty but it worked really good.  I was extremely happy with how well it worked on my driveway. Of course the hydraulic lift on the 416 makes it really nice

I got a few closer pictures for a few that asked. Really is nothing special. I used existing holes in cultivator frame and bolted the harrow to that so I didn’t hack up a good cultivator frame.

The Snowmowtractor needs to look complete for Thursday’s car show.  It’ll be riding in the back of Ole Smoky my ‘69 C10.

This is one of the reasons I went to the feed mill for chicken food, to see how it held up to 6-700 lbs in the bed.  Like a champ!
