I do. We still watch Gunsmoke reruns. My wife has a male donkey named Jake, and wants a Jenny to name Ruth.

Testing out the new bridge.

I would have tested it with a lesser quality tractor.... like maybe a green machine. Just in case.

What kind of footings do you have under those hemlocks?

Having seen Jim's work first hand and even having him do some at our own house I have complete confidence that this bridge will hold... many Wheelhorses...

But....

A green one... That's funny right there.

Earth and rocks is all that's needed.

Clyde helped to move some of my wife's sewing equipment.  The next project is to remodel the bathroom in the lake house.  This will involve cutting through the slab to get to the drain pipes underneath.  For some reason, my wife is afraid that construction dust will somehow get into her machines.

I've got to get Clyde's battery in for a load test tomorrow.  The battery does not seem to keep a good charge.  It is a Duracell lawn & garden patters built in 2021.  If it passes that, it will be time to dig into the charging system.  Am also making plans to replace all of the battery to solenoid/starter cables.  The ones on the tractor are pretty crusty.

You made a good decision in accommodating her request.

Years ago I had a boss that referred to that type of situation as "ask/demand".

😂.

Ask. Really wasn't part of the equation.

:text-yeahthat: I also know how much we have wrapped up in those machines.  I moved a surger and a high zoot computerized sewing machine with an embroidery attachment.  Construction dust will wreak havoc on equipment like that.
