Maybe add fluid and or wheel weights, adjust air pressure to 5-7psi rear, 10-12 psi front. Then if that's doesn't work add the chains.

What do you mean "weird to drive"?... My wifes car has a CVT and it wants to "shudder" when driving with no pull or ot only moderate pull om the drivetrain...this what you mean by " weird"? Runs and drives great. It's the whole no shifting....ever. I'm a truck driver. I like gears. 1
rjg854 11,377 #615 Posted January 11, 2021 My wife loves her Honda Fit, wanted to get her into a all-wheel or 4wheel drive vehicle, and she won't even discuss it. 40+ miles a gallon is hard to beat.

Definitely understandable. Trina is not even remotely entertained by all-wheel drive when she gets into mine. She keeps four good studded snows on her car and the thing goes like a tank..
Horse Newbie 7,071 #617 Posted January 11, 2021 I believe it may be a good idea to get rid of my wifes Nissan with the shuddering CVT... If we have to get a car with a CVT transmission, I'm thinking go with a manufacturer with a better history with CVT's
