JCM 9,152 #552 Posted December 26, 2020 This was Thursday before the disappearing snow act, or at least 80% of it. And yes @Sparky the Brook is passable, way easier than snowshoes to get to the cabin. Good call. 4 2

Gregor 4,846 #554 Posted December 26, 2020 While the Predator engine did work well, I think this one just looks better. I need to find some sort of fuel tank that will fit under the seat pan, and install either a mechanical or electric fuel pump. I also installed a seat I had on hand.

Gregor 4,846 #556 Posted December 26, 2020 The original Tecumseh engine had the fuel tank mounted right on it. The shelf directly behind the engine might work, but there isn't much clearance there with the hood on. The small bottom tray is for the battery. I am trying to come up with an option that doesn't require drilling any holes.

Still some out back in the woods where the sun don't shine and the 4' which were 7' high piles left over from snow removal up along the driveway.

Gregor 4,846 #559 Posted December 26, 2020 I think I have one of those, but it has a hole in it. Well 3 holes actually, and it is really bad inside.

I've got one that has the outlet nearer the end but I now you're not wanting to drill extra holes. It's yours for shipping if you're interested. Otherwise you can call Lincoln at A to Z Tractor in PA.
Gregor 4,846 #561 Posted December 26, 2020 Thanks, but I have not given up on the H70 quite yet. I won't do anything drastic unless it is dead.

Lee1977 6,658 #563 Posted December 26, 2020 (edited) Quit wasting your time with the H 70. You'll have a lot less trouble with a Kohler. Edited December 27, 2020 by Lee1977

And just what would I do with my time? Watch my neighbors chickens? Besides, it's become a personal thing. 43 minutes ago, ebinmaine said: I admire your incredible persistence. Just had a thought..... Is there a thing like could it be the wrong flywheel or anything? I know it ran for a bit... I really don't know. I know it had the wrong motor shroud on it when I got it. It originally had a spark plug in it the size of a small pine tree. I know it seems odd, but when I spin it with my drill, turning off all the lights, I have good spark with my spark tester at low rpm. At high rpm, I have no spark. The points are new, but that doesn't always mean anything. I kind-a wish there was someone else here to witness it. I put the condenser on from my K161, didn't hep. All I can do is wait for the new ignition parts I have ordered. Edit. There are 2 Tecumseh motors for sale on Facebook, right in my hometown. Surely I can't be that stupid. ebinmaine 67,462 #567 Posted December 28, 2020 @Gregor Part number for something like that might not matter much because there were slight variances and they haven't even been used on a Horse since about 1968 or 9. Best bet is to either put an ad in our wanted section, call Lincoln at a to z, or both.
Gregor 4,846 #568 Posted December 28, 2020 I tried to get one from Lincoln. He does not have that exact style. He sent me the tank that is on it now.

It’s in the bell housing. Ford Model A stuff, I believe. @oldiron613’s lever steer clutch you push to go, lift to stop. This one, it’s like a vehicle.
