PWL216 889 #2251 Posted July 1, 2023 I spent a few hours working on and cleaning my 1994, 264hr 314-H that I bought a month ago for $100. The seller said the transmission was squealing. It wouldn’t start when I picked it up, but $100 is low risk, so I took it. Searching here about what the cause could be, I came across a post by Ed Kennel, saying it’s often the tensioner pulley. Turns out, that was the problem. Replaced it with OEM Toro pulley for $25. I also changed the oil, transmission filter and oil as well as the gas line, gas filter and installed a primer bulb. I discovered while cleaning it that it has what I think are wheel weights. Only thing left is to fix the lights. 2 11 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
