Do you know what kind of crop it's normally used for? It is in fact a planter he has wanted one for some time. They had multiple disc/plates for multiple application from onions carrots and lettuce to corn and bean! We do not have all the disc/plates for the various crap planting but he is definitely on the look for them… 1

Yours is only the third one that I’ve seen that’s complete with the row marker. I have one complete with everything including the manual! We have the manual also was told to be new old stock still has the dealer price tag in the fertilizer hopper! The gentleman said that he had it in his possession for 20 years never been in the dirt! Sadly only came with one disc/plate and unfortunately it’s the lettuce carrots and onions…. Here’s a list in the manuel of its planter options! JCM 9,168 #1481 Posted March 7, 2022 Yours looks like a trailer queen compared to mine. Have you seen the before and after pics of mine. I almost kept driving by the house where I bought it when I saw what it looked like. 2

My 418-C had been stored under a tarp, about half the paint stayed on the tarp. A bit of paint and a new set of decals from @Vinylguy were a big improvement. 1

JCM 9,168 #1490 Posted March 12, 2022 Love that picture of you Richard on the 418. Amazing how an adult can have such a smile on his face when on a WH. Also, nice to see an original one unrestored doing what it was built to do 35 years ago. @953 nut 3

It will get some new skins front and rear, paint the wheels. Everything works on it. Might do the bearing upgrade for the upper steering shaft and pull the flywheel just to check the magnets and stator. Other than that, I hope to just use it. 5
