pfrederi 17,868 #2 Posted March 17, 2020 (edited) First find out what type fluid is in there. tan color is motor oil 10w-30 or 10w-40 if it is red it is DEXMERC ATF Really isn't a flush you drain it and refill it. If the existing fluid is nasty looking e.g. cloudy or milky may have to do it more than once. Change filter each time. DarrellF 33 #4 Posted March 17, 2020 (edited) What I'm doing is a got 2 tractors from Todd and the one was missing the transmission tube so I'm sure water got in it I'm going to pull the rear and the pump out of the tractor that's missing the oil fill and really try and clean it out. My D200 has a bad axle but it's a good hydro and I was going to put the rear end under my tractor till I can repair the bad axle, I know my system is clean and strong I don't want to contaminate my system, So I'm going to be sure it's clean.
