Finding part numbers for a 90 year old car is time consuming to say the least. Everyone contacted so far has been very patient and helpful thankfully. At any rate well worth the money as the Lempco numbers will have the OEM parts number crossovers listed. I searched http://openlinrary.org for a free copy but came up empty. You;ll notice a lot of the ebay listings for ring and pinon gears were made by Lempco. Cvans 1,009 #84 Posted March 30, 2020 Parts for the differential are trickling in. So far they appear to be the parts I need. More parts should arrive tomorrow. Dawned on me today that I never pulled pulled the seals on the output shaft of the tranny and the input shaft of the differential. Need to do that and get them ordered. Thanks to the generosity of Dick (953 nut) I hope to have the parts I need to repair the rear fender. More on that Tuesday. Many people have come forward and offered help and advice. Cvans 1,009 #85 Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) Received the section today along with tail light bracket. Was going to go fishing but just had to see if the fender could be made usable again. Many thanks again to 953 nut for making this possible. I am one happy camper. As a refresher this is what I started with. The radius of fenders didn't match. So a pie shaped section was remove just above the bead and the radius changed. Also the pieces were section diagonally to better blend them together. And this is where the project stands as of now. I was 14 years old when I bought the Chrysler that fender came from. 60 years later it has finally found its way onto a car that needed it. Didn't see him apply it but it looked like blobs of shiny steel all over the repair areas. Fully magnetic. I watched that video before and had an old body man explain to me about using lead. Like to try it sometime. There are kits available for doing it. Just if it not bother you and you‘re agree with. It's pretty much original except the front carpet. Someone took the door panels are off to be replaced and they were with the car. The seat upholstery looks really old but I don't know if it's 90 years old. The door panels, headliner, and interior panels are original. The headliner is starting to sag so I'm going to use some small wood trim to tack it back up. It was only attached at every other joist. I've since added these to a few projects to dress them up. Valve grinding compound smeared onto the surface the using a wooden dowel in a hand drill of press is all you need.
