Cvans 1,009 #52 Posted March 21, 2020 The fender thing fell through. He had some that looked good but didn't measure out the same. So I guess it's time to get out the body hammers and see what kind of damage can be done.

Spark advance, hand throttle and starter. Edit: I'm assuming it has two levers on the steering wheel and I just can't see one. Could be wrong. Cvans 1,009 #58 Posted March 21, 2020 Ok the lever on the steering wheel is hooked to a multi-position switch on the base of the steering column. Take it from there.

Called it the Keybird. “Keybird fly backwards. Don’t care where he’s going. Knows for damn sure where he’s been.” Rest in peace, Frank John “Keybird” Platte. 1

I paid $100 for it in 1957 when I was 13 years. It had 37K on the working odometer. The exterior was good with the original paint, but I did reupholster the entire interior and added a heater and a radio. The picture is from July 4, 1961. One of my first dates with Mrs.K. The 1930 Dodge came with a large work bench, curious to know what you named your first born. Edited March 21, 2020 by bcgold 1 2

I don't claim to know a lot, and I'll certainly never know nearly as much as those who lived back then. 1

Sorry BC, my first was born a few years later and named Mark, not Dodge. Probably should have named him Galaxie.
