There was a thread here once where a guy was masking the rubber off in peanut butter then washing it off when done! Ed Kennell 38,579 #34 Posted March 16, 2020 (edited) I opened the carb today. It didn't really look too bad. Cleaned all the passages with carb cleaner and adjusted the float. She still searches a little at idle and likes 1/2 choke, but starts easy and runs well at WOT. There is some clearance around the throttle shaft, but test do not show excess air is being sucked in.
