Ever had a piece of Smith Island cake? Look it up if you haven't. I have two pieces left, but no cookie bars.
rmaynard 15,427 #33 Posted March 11, 2020 (edited) So, it's been a great day. I did some work on the pole building, getting ready for concrete. Then I resumed work on my bathroom project. Insulated and hung drywall. I had my birthday dinner on Sunday, (Maryland Jumbo Lump Crabcakes) but still had a couple of pieces of Smith Island cake left. Thanks to everyone for all the Birthday wishes. Edited March 11, 2020 by rmaynard 3

GM Restaurant was a good place for those. I've had G&M crab cakes. They are good. However, if you are ever in my neck of the woods, try the Rocksalt Grille in Westminster, MD. Two 10 ounce, all jumbo lump crab cakes with two sides for $32.00. You can't even buy that much crab meat for that price. 1

JoeM 7,871 #40 Posted March 11, 2020 Bob. something I did when at the GM restaurant. I would order a bowl of Cream of Crab and put one of those crab cakes in the soup. You could hear my heart slow down when eating it! I think the last time (couple years ago) one cake was 18$. Yeah baby! That price the Rocksalt is a good one. 1
