rustyoldjunk 127 #1 Posted April 28, 2009 here is the 1257 or "1257 super 8".it started out as a 1257 frame, steering, front axle and sheet metal.i bolted in a transaxle from a 416-8,and a later model kohler K301 engine w/electric pto clutch.i used a almost new ignition switch from a little newer wheel horse and wired it up.i used a dash and cables out of the same tractor i took the switch from.i had to change to a C series battery box.it has a 14-8 belt guard and the mower drive is from an 800 special.it has 23 10.50 super lugs and im going to change the mid attach a matic to the new C series style.i also have a C series style front attach a matic that has been modified so it can bolt on the front in place of the 800 special mower deck drive.i need to get it cleaned and straightened up now so that it looks presentable. it rained today so i took the pictures in the garage,im sure they would have came out better ]

Nah, Jeff, we allow one green tractor in a herd to act as a reminder of just how good the red ones are...in case anyone has any doubts! Duff
