ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #1 Posted March 9, 2020 Thought I would share some pictures I took yesterday while helping my friend Rodger dig out some tractor parts out of the back of his shed. He has a pretty nice collection of Deere and Farmall tractors, including one of each of the letter series Farmalls. Not pictured here are his Farmall A (in the garage at his house), his working Farmall B that he mows with, or his John Deere R (currently a couple towns over being put back together) I always enjoy spending time with Rodger, a couple years back he lost both legs to diabetes, but still enjoys getting out and messing with the tractors, and I really enjoy helping him with them as well Here is his unrestored 720, and a glimpse of the B he mows with in the backround Here is the two seater BN he takes his grandkids on in parades, in the background of the first pic you can see his 3010 we are in the process of putting back together as well Farmall M as well as his restored 720 Another shot of the BN, as well as the Super C and the Regular in the back This restored H is his pride and joy. Before his health started declining he and his wife took this tractor to Nebraska every year for the Great Nebraska Tractor Ride This little Cub has always been another one of my favorites, we have talked several times about the possibility of me purchasing this tractor, but have never struck a deal on it. In the background is an unrestored 730 The oldest (and probably coolest) tractor in his collection, a Farmall Regular Putting the 720 back in the shed, here you can also see a better shot of the B All put away again 9 6 2

His is a 30x60. Kind of a funny story behind that, he had planned and priced a 30x50. Called to get the concrete poured and his concrete guy didn't understand English very well, so he ended up with a 30x60 slab, had to call the building company back and change his order. but it all worked out. Even with that extra 10 feet he still is tight on space. Another friend and I are thinking about putting up a 30x50 out here at the ranch to do some light repair and fabrication work out of to make some extra money on the side.
troutbum70 857 #4 Posted March 9, 2020 Nice shed and collection of tractors, and prayers for your friend Rodger diabetes is a terrible thing. I lost my mother 15 years ago do to diabetes, to many people do not take it serious until its to late. I have a friend right now that did not take it serious and it is now eating him up. 1

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #8 Posted March 11, 2020 Yes, nice collection. I personally like the BN and the Regular. I have a B, but not a BN. And it would be cool to have a Regular or a F-12 or F-14, along with a John Deere H.
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #9 Posted March 12, 2020 @T-Mo yes the Regular is about as cool as it gets, would love to have one someday...although if he told me tomorrow I could have my pick of any one of his tractors I think I would have to take the M...they have always been one of my favorites. May have a deal worked out on a good running M, but with a wide front and needing a lot of cosmetic repair
Darb1964 1,043 #10 Posted March 12, 2020 Thanks for sharing, love the reds, and old greens too. Most colors of old iron I must confess. That's not infidelity to my wheel horse tractors. I'm not married to them after all, attached at the hip maybe, not married.

It's been converted over to 12V. I bought my '47 Cub from this guy about 3 years ago.
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #12 Posted April 8, 2020 Forgot to post these the other day. Rodger called me and said they delivered his R back to him and wanted me to come help him put it back in the shed. Talk about a new experience, I've been around old tractors and equipment all my life, but this was the first time I've ever started a piece of equipment with a pony motor on it. Be watching here shortly for a thread on my newest toy that Rodger and I made a deal on today
