12Horse Paladin 1,038 #1 Posted March 8, 2020 Afternoon, every1. Life being kind of topsy-turvy for yours truly these days, ive been spending a fair bit of time here in the Square. Keeps my mind occupied, n helps my mood. I like the builds n knowledge, to be sure...but the comradery and overall friendliness of y'all...thats what i see when i read. And it helps alot, these days. And at any rate, i just thought id try n start a thread dedicated to the Bronco 14Auto. See if there are more stories n pics out there, as pertains to this machine, since it is/was the one that really got me involved here. See...i see lots of pics of the Elecros, Chargers, etc, and many threads for them...but i get the feeling the Bronco is kind of an odd duck...? I dunno, i just dont see much written, or pics, pertaining solely to them. And not just here, but on the 'net in general. And believe me, ive spent hrs looking these last few months, lol. I read somewhere once, that when it was introduced, it was WH's top of the line in '71. Guess im just wondering what kind of a following it may have... At the moment, i dont have any recent pics, or action shots. Im hoping thatll change and memories will be made with mine, but for now, here's one i like...just cuz Clara adds to it😊 Hope everyone has a great day, n thanks for listening to my ramblings...i am sure im a Horse-Aholic. And im glad😊 (Honestly been resarching 1054s...the next quest? Maybe...)
c-series don 8,663 #2 Posted March 8, 2020 You’re right when you say this place is full of friendly people. Seems that not so friendly people don’t last long around here!! I’m happy to say that one day I’ll probably inherit a Bronco 14 with a loader! I’m not rushing it though because the gentleman that owns it is as nice as they get. I love Clara in the picture, maybe someone should start a thread with dogs and horses!

Mike in NC 341 #9 Posted March 9, 2020 Here is our 1971 Bronco 14. We got it from a friends estate after he passed. He knew I was interested in old tractors and engines. So, when he went to go look at it, he asked me to go along. Plus, I had the truck and trailer. We went and looked at it, it ran real bad, blowing black smoke, loading up. I drove it up the driveway. It would barely pull itself. I went back down the driveway. My friend and the seller were talking. I asked it he was going to buy it, he said yes and handed the seller the money. I opened the hood, adjusted the carb and drove away with a Kohler running smooth and had plenty of power. I loaded it and strapped it down. I went back down the drive to my friend, and the owner just stood there wide mothed. It was funny. My friend had it for a few years and when he passed his girlfriend sold it to us. I have installed a new carb and electronic fuel pump on it. I love it!! There must not be many Bronco 14 around. You never see them. 1
