HeyMrP 83 #1 Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) So I have an opportunity to buy an upgrade to my 310-8. Someone is selling a 1996 one owner 520H with 484 hours. He says its a very clean machine. Being sold with single stage blower and a plow blade. Also a side discharge deck and middle mounted grader blade. What does the community here think it’s worth? If I buy it I'll be sure to post pics and reveal what I am able to get it for! Have to admit that I dont know anything about the 520. Ive been on the lookout for something hydro because my wife (God bless her!) like to mow grass, but does not like working the gears. From what I can tell the 520H has the hydrostatic trans and hydraulics (also good for the wife). WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #9 Posted March 8, 2020 The 96 is the 50th anniversary edition with gold lettering I have one I bought brand new 22 years ago (left over) has 760 hours on it now and has become my dedicated snow blower machine (when it snows here) also have a 95 with 360 hours IMO you can't go wrong with the 520H even with the possibility of wiring issues once you have heard that Onan twin roar you'll never look at a Kohler single the same again. My Petter PJ2 with the 15Kw generator was a $1200.00 purchase, I had sent a $200.00 token to hold, the generator which lived twelve hours away in another Province.
