The other half is attached to the frame at the front and attaches to the uprights making it a rigid unit. The whole idea is to transfer the stress and added weight to the wheels, not the frame of the tractor. Thanks for the pics. Which make/model FEL is that? Oldskool 6,596 #136 Posted March 22, 2020 I think I have spent more time on line trying to figure out how the deck comes off than in the garage. I can only figure the deck has to be lowered to be able to remove the pin from the lift cylinder. Unfortunately it is in the up position. So I'm kind stuck. Any help would be MUCH appreciated
19richie66 17,424 #137 Posted March 22, 2020 (edited) Wish I could help but I don’t have one with a deck on it. Is there anyway you could have someone stand on the deck and push down on the valve lever? Not sure if that would do it. If not, crack a line going to the valve or cylinder till it lowers. Oldskool 6,596 #143 Posted March 22, 2020 Some progress today. Deck is off. The shredded rear tires are off the rims. Tried testing the electric clutch. Provided I did it correctly it is nonfunctional. So until I have an engine or rear tires things will be at a snail's pace
