Oldskool 6,640 #58 Posted March 7, 2020 So one side is almost done. Fist pic is a spacer for the seal to ride on. 1/4 x 1"ID x 1-1/8"OD. Second pic axle bushing 3-3/8"L x 3/4"ID x 1"OD. I am still going to make the rims I want to get optimum offset.

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,032 #67 Posted March 8, 2020 Shaft driven magneto. Most common a Wico. Remove the cover and clean the point contacts with a file. Looks like an insulated screw coming out the right side of the housing for grounding the ignition to shut the ignition off. If there is a wire going to the screw remove the wire from the screw. That wire is often shorted inside the handle bar or the switch has failed in the end of the handle bar. Garry

I was wondering what it was connected to origanally. I will file the points and see what happens. Thanks for the info
Oldskool 6,640 #69 Posted March 8, 2020 @gwest_ca filed the points, double checked the spark plug. Still no fire. I guess I will have to mess with it another day. Unless somebody else wants to own it

I'd bet a new condenser will have you up and running again if the points didn't do it.
