So one side is almost done. Fist pic is a spacer for the seal to ride on. 1/4 x 1"ID x 1-1/8"OD. Second pic axle bushing 3-3/8"L x 3/4"ID x 1"OD. I am still going to make the rims I want to get optimum offset.20200307_151914.jpg.0233d2c1d8073a7896c5507dd5833e14.jpg

Nice! A lot easier to get the wheels on/off this way. :handgestures-thumbupright:

Finally got the other wheel off. So this morning the old boy has new temporary shoes. Getting closer to being a roller

Is that a points ignition, or magneto/something behind the flywheel?

Not really sure other than it is shaft drive in front of the engine

Shaft driven magneto. Most common a Wico. Remove the cover and clean the point contacts with a file. Looks like an insulated screw coming out the right side of the housing for grounding the ignition to shut the ignition off. If there is a wire going to the screw remove the wire from the screw. That wire is often shorted inside the handle bar or the switch has failed in the end of the handle bar.

It is a Wico. The wire coming from the screw is disconnected from the handle bar already. I was wondering what it was connected to origanally. I will file the points and see what happens. Thanks for the info

@gwest_ca filed the points, double checked the spark plug. Still no fire. I guess I will have to mess with it another day. Unless somebody else wants to own it

I do agree..

Shame I never get up that way.

That Wico is a very simple mag. I'd bet a new condenser will have you up and running again if the points didn't do it.

Those are cool sleds @Oldskool but posting outside links to sales like CL or EBay aren’t allowed FYI.
