TonyToro 1,049 #1 Posted March 4, 2020 Post up a picture of your prized puller or family of pullers. We currently have 3. 2 in garden stock and one switches from Jr. A stock or Economy stock. I’m the wrench, my father-in-law and son are the drivers.

Redneckdavis 308 #10 Posted July 22, 2020 1050 super stock. Briggs vanguard vtwin, on alcohol. Not sure bore or stroke, sounds like at the least a heavy cam. Trans is gutted with only pull gear and neutral.

I’m sure it will free up a little horsepower. In this game any little bit helps. Do you lock out the shifter? I was talking with a few guys about this. It was a mixed debate. I was saying all the Cub guys do it...lol Only our “fast” tractor gets locked out when pulling.
Redneckdavis 308 #12 Posted July 22, 2020 It does have a fold down lock. I was told once that was required per rules some places.. No I don't have any videos and everything within driving distance is not pulling this season bc of the sniffles. I guess I'll have to wait till next year to try it out

You will have plenty of time to customize to your liking.
Redneckdavis 308 #14 Posted July 23, 2020 And to finish redoing the fuel system... pump, lines, tank All that money I spend on ethenol-free gas for my carbureted toys, then one day I decide to buy a tractor that runs on nothing BUT the junk. Oh well Yeah it's been sitting 2yrs, outside apparently. I'm taking the opportunity to change a few things too.

Much cheaper than buying the VP canned fuel. I can’t believe how much longer the non-ethanol lasts.

That's all I run in my carburetor vehicles.

We have a 2.5 MPH maximum in the garden stock class. The track was really grippy so,I gave my father-in-law a bit more throttle off the start and told him to watch the digital sign with speed. He didn’t react quick enough and went over about 15-20 feet out of the hole! Lol my fault I guess.....
Redneckdavis 308 #21 Posted July 30, 2020 Hmm. Never heard of that. The stock class here is pretty much a joke, stepping stone for kids. The class above that which allows crosscut tires, gov removed, tuned carbs, I had my butt handed to me by middle schoolers on my cub last time. Lol The real competitive, strict rules stuff is super stock and up
