Commando 8 mower deck question

Recommended Posts

Commando_8

I have a commando 8, and ive been wanting to put a deck on it. Im pretty sure it takes the belt to gear drive deck with the round front. But does the size matter, and my tractor has no brackets, or lift arms. From my eyes, lift arms on the short frame wheel horses look the same on the outside, but is there a difference. And what brackets would i need.

Welcome to the forum.

Here is the deck sold in 1968 for the Commando 8.

These later decks should be the same. 5-2322 and 5-2323

:text-welcomeconfetti: to the :rs: Commando 8.          Always good to see another PeeAaaer, and a York Countian no less.    We have quite a few members here in York.

I have a few decks also, but I can't compete with the Virginian.  You need to come to the Big Show in June and deal with  the @857 horse .

It's worth the trip just to meet my friend.....   THE ONE and ONLY   HOOOOWAAARD.

The Wheel Horse Collectors Club Show is held every year on the weekend after Fathers day at the South Mt. fairgrounds 30 mile West of York.     This is an event that every WH owner should attend.     Many Red Square members will be traveling hundreds of miles to meet there.

1564 miles, I’m hopping!

Great place to meet fellow horsemen and see every Wheelhorse tractor, implement, and  custom made.
