I don't have a pear tree either. I like pears. I wouldn't mind having a pear tree.
Stormin 9,981 #29 Posted February 26, 2020 I can get you a partridge, but you'd have to collect it.

The deck is usable, with a tiny weld around 1 bolt, some bearing and paint, the chains and weights ( I believe their 50lbs wheel weights).... heck the weights cost way more than $50! 😁👍

Your supposed to get 10 inches out of this wet storm? @ebinmaine

Your supposed to get 10 inches out of this wet storm? @ebinmaine I live about 10 or 15 air miles south of Fryeburg. It's been kind of up and down as far as what they're expecting since last night. Gme 13 says as little as three or four inches but the NWS latest update has my hills around 5 or 6.

Ok, I’m supposed to get 3-6”, were to the east of Bangor about 15 miles. Of 34 degree snow... not fun for the snowblower... fun for the power king though! I bought that new Ariens super extra amazing snow blower a month ago today or tomorrow and we haven't had to use it but once. Art of me is wicked curious to see what that beast would do with 6 or 7 inches of white cement. A small part. The rest of me would rather just wait until next year to try it out.

Not much for snow up here! You don’t have to shovel rain! Its raining up here and 35 degrees! Not bad! @ebinmaine

Here too. Looks like we're going to skip out on the white stuff this time. I am not even remotely close to being upset about that.
ebinmaine 67,266 #37 Posted March 8, 2020 A little update on the clearing work. Trina, her mom and I have spent 6 or 7 "work sessions" of 2 to 4 hours each out there. You can see the brush piles we've been making. Also note the stacks of sticks in various places. It's been a LOT of work and fun. Still at least a couple sessions of work to do.
Oldskool 6,640 #38 Posted March 8, 2020 Looking real nice out there. A lot of work involved but it's worth it. I need to grab a chainsaw for a while here as well. I just can't seem to put the wrenches down long enough hahaha
Pullstart 62,783 #39 Posted March 10, 2020 I heard you say sugar maples in the first video... but I didn’t understand when you said you weren’t harvesting sugar? HUH?
ebinmaine 67,266 #40 Posted March 10, 2020 Hahahahahaha yeah I've been leaving those trees right where they were since I moved in because I thought at some point I might want to try tapping and boiling. I thought about it multiple times over the years but I've never gotten around to it and I always just buy the syrup from a farm that taps well over two thousand trees a little further up the mountain from me.

I’m sure theirs is good, but yours could be great! 1

This place up the road makes a rather unique blend. Trina and I both prefer darker syrups and this guy uses a lot of (Red, Rock Or Swamp) Maple mixed in with his sugar maples. Makes for a nice Dark Amber loveliness.
