Bigtrx34 321 #1 Posted February 17, 2020 About 3/4 of the way done with my new lift for the shop. I'm only 35 but most days my knees and back feel like I'm much older! Living in Michigan also means cold floors even when my shop is heated up to 70 the floor is like a popsicle. 8ton air over hydro has no problem lifting my old 2 stage simplicity blower (about 200lbs) and my 200lb butt at the same time, have not tried the 312 or the 520 yet but I don't think it will have a issue. The lift comes apart in 2 sections in about 15 min and can be put along the wall for more space. 14

Achto 27,502 #6 Posted February 17, 2020 That's a sweet lift ! Should make working on your projects much easier. It's also good to see that you are prepared to keep your fluids up while you are working in the garage. Don't want to get dehydrated.

CCW 1,292 #17 Posted February 18, 2020 I love homemade tools. Wish all the ones I have tried worked. This one looks great and I will keep it in mind if I ever need lift.

Oldskool 6,640 #19 Posted February 18, 2020 Nice addition to the garage. I can relate to those cold floors too. My knees don't like it at all. You may have just inspired me to build one of these for myself
